Picture Day

Well, today we went to The Picture People to get some pictures done. With the exception of a friend of mine taking pictures when Tessa was first born, we haven't had ANY pictures done of her yet. I know...we were slackers!! The photographer we had was pretty good and got some really good shots of Dylan, Tessa, the two of them together, the whole family, and a couple of Tessa and I because I have pictures of Dylan and me, so I wanted some to match with Tessa. I was sooo happy with the finished product, and while you pay a little more there than at a place like Sears or the like, it is sooooo worth it because they do such an amazing job. I know I sound like an advertisement for them, but I was just so thrilled with our finished products! The kids really did a great job! They were smiling, and the pictures showed what happy kids they really are. There were so many good pictures that it took me an hour and a half to decide what we were getting. I didn't want to leave any out! I ended up buying the CD and copyright too, so if I decide I want some of the others, I can always go get them printed or even go back there to get a reprint done.

We ended up getting two really nice frames with 10x13 pictures, one of Tessa and one of Dylan. We also got these 2 awesome "Trilogy" frames. They each have 3 pictures in them and are matted. Each one has a picture of the 2 kids together in the middle, and one has two pictures of Tessa on each side, and the other has 2 pictures of Dylan on each side. Now we finally have pictures to hang up in our house of both of our children.

It was a very productive session! I wanted to post the pictures on here, but I can't get them on here for some reason. I'm still figuring this whole site out! ;) They are posted on Facebook, and if you are not on Facebook and want to see them, let me know, and I will try to email them to you!!!
